We currently live on a planet where wealth is concentrated in the hands of a few. While a few fortunate folks live in huge mansions, millions upon millions die of starvation, tens of thousands of children each and every day. Hundreds of thousands of people in America, the wealthiest nation on earth, go to bed each night on a sidewalk or under a freeway overpass. We have the wealth and technology to feed and house everyone on the planet, but we do not.

This is simply unacceptable.

Consider the following from an article on a study showing the wealth gap is increasing worldwide:

In 2000, the top 1 percent of the world’s population — some 37 million adults with a net worth of at least $515,000 — accounted for about 40 percent of the world’s total net worth, according to the report.

The bottom half of the population owned merely 1.1 percent of the globe’s wealth. The net worth of the world’s typical person — whose wealth was above that of half the world’s population and below that of the other half — was under $2,200.

Money Reiki is not anti-capitalism. It is not pro-communism. It is, however, pro-personal responsibility. The responsibility lies in the hands of those with money and power to stop hoarding it and learn to share it with others. The responsibility lies in the rest of us to stand up and demand more economic equality.

When we look at this from an energetic perspective, we can see that all of us need dramatic healing when it comes to money. The new age movement has been sorely lacking this regard, and has only been encouraging more greed and materialism with movements like “Law of Attraction” and “The Secret,” which blame the victims of poverty and offer no solution to our world’s economic disparities. These movements encourage well-meaning spiritual people to put their energies on visualizing wealth and material prosperity for themselves, while ignoring the plight of those less fortunate.

The pay of the top CEOs in America is now 400 times that of the average worker, a dramatic increase from just 16 years ago, where the gap was a “mere” 82 times. How on earth can any CEO sleep at night knowing that he has laid off thousands of workers while he gets a $10 million bonus? What is wrong with this picture?

Money Reiki is here to counter these disparities. Among other things, the energies are here to:

1. Alleviate poverty.

2. Reward integrity instead of greed.

3. Make it easier for people to earn a living following their soul’s purpose instead of selling themselves out or having to work at jobs that do not satisfy their true callings.

The vision of Money Reiki is to create a planet where everyone can get a decent wage for honest work, where everyone is fed, and where everyone has a roof over their head. Is that too much to ask?

Every person attuned to Money Reiki has the power to make a difference, simply by using the Money Reiki energies to heal themselves and others. Additionally, Money Reiki practitioners are called upon to “charge” the physical money they handle with the energies. This helps to offer healing to anyone who touches the money, and it works to lift the vibration of money up on the planet as a whole.

Finally, Money Reiki practitioners are called to use their powers of visualization and healing to send positive Money Reiki energy to those parts of our world that need it. Heal the CEO who is caught up in his gain over the good of others. Heal our governments. Heal our corporations.
